Discover the magic of hot glass at this unique Calgary destination where creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on fun come together. Since 2015, Glass House Xperience has introduced the art of glass blowing to hundreds of thousands of people across Western Canada through live demonstrations and interactive experiences from their original 40-foot mobile glass studio. Now located in a permanent Southwest Calgary glass gallery and studio, visitors can step into the world of glass making and create their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece alongside a professional glass artist.

Taste for Glass

Experience the excitement of creating your own piece of hand-blown glass! During your 30-minute private class, you'll work one-on-one with a professional glass artist to create up two small items or one larger piece. Choose from a paperweight, ornament, drinking glass, flowers and discover the magic of working with molten glass.

This introductory experience is perfect for beginners—no experience is necessary. We'll guide you through each step, making it a fun and memorable experience for individuals, couples, families, or anyone looking to try something new.

(18+) Adult Bong Class

Details:

Recommended age: 18+
Experience length: ~45 minutes
Cost: $425 + GST

Celebrate your creativity with a unique glass blowing bong class! During this 45-minute private experience, you’ll work one-on-one with a professional glass artist to create your very own handcrafted glass water bong masterpiece.

Choose your own colors and learn the basics of shaping hot glass while designing your custom bong. Our artists will guide you through the process, helping you create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your personal style.

Once your piece has cooled, we will carefully complete the finishing process by drilling the hole and adding the glass down stem. Due to the cooling and finishing process, your completed glass bong will be ready for pickup approximately 3–7 days after your class.

Bring your ideas, have fun, and leave with a handmade glass piece created by you.

2-Hour Glass Blowing Class

Get ready for an unforgettable hands-on glass blowing experience! Choose between a solo 2-hour private class or bring a friend and share the experience at no extra charge.

During your 2-hour private class, you'll work one-on-one with a professional glass artist who will guide you through every step of creating your own unique glass pieces.

You’ll have the opportunity to create small or large glass pieces, and most guests leave the studio with 3–6 handmade creations they can proudly call their own. This introductory class is perfect for beginners—no experience necessary!

Have an idea in mind? Bring it with you and we’ll help bring it to life. Not sure? No problem—our artists are full of ideas.

Master Class

We are excited to offer an Exclusive Master Glass Class for a small group of individuals. No previous glass blowing experience needed. This class will take place over 3 Days (14+ hours). Friday - Sunday. Only 4 spots available, first come first serve. We are looking at Spring 2027 offerings

Experience the art of glass making with our talented teachers at Glass House. This will be a hands on training session, you will partner up with a teacher and a class mate to learn all the steps of glass making from start to finish. Each day you will make multiple projects, learning various steps and techniques in glass blowing.

If you have ever wanted to dive into the art of glassblowing, this class is for you!

Perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate events, team building, and celebrations, this group glass blowing experience gives everyone the chance to create their own unique handmade piece.

During this introductory glass blowing experience, each participant works one-on-one with a professional glass artist to create their own glass masterpiece. Guests can choose their own colors and make a small hand-blown glass piece, such as a paperweight, ornament, flower, or other custom creation.
